Lock down maths

Today was our first school video call. For maths, we had the challenge to count things in our fridge and put then into different food groups. This is my slide. how are you doing school in lockdown? Diving Giraffes Make Front Page

For today's task, I chose to write a news report on the high diving giraffe. For my D.L.O. I used google docs. it was hard to think of topics to write on like a reporter but I managed. My sources are high diving giraffes. Have you done anything like this lately? Please tell me in the comments.

Daily News

Today at the local swimming center there was high diving training
for giraffes. The first round was at a 20m high board and the
technique chosen was their choice. After the first round, it was split
between a 20 m high board and a 30 m high bard and you were
allowed to choose your own technique. After a long day of swimming,
the 30 giraffes walked together back to the training room very proud
of their practice.  

The Strutting Long Neck

For today's task, I chose to describe a giraffe from the short story the diving giraffe. For my D.L.O I used google slides. It was hard to think of some topics to describe the giraffe but I asked for help and got some more ideas and finished strong. I added a photo of the giraffe I was using on the second slide. Me As A Diving Giraffe

For my daily task, I chose the diving giraffe. For my D.L.O. I used google docs. It was fun to pretend to be the diving giraffe but it was hard to think of the right words but I managed easily. for my sources, I got the video from the literacy shed. have you done descriptive writing lately? As I walk out of the changing rooms and up the longest corridor, I’ve ever seen.  I look out at the diving board at my most trusted friend hanging from a trapeze in the sealing. I take a couple of steps back then without notice my legs started running to the edge of the board and I’m off doing a double flip in the air somehow my head slows down that moment and I see all the others looking in amazement . When I look down I see the crystal clear water below me and It is approaching as fast as a flash and the time gets faster and faster until it goes back to normal. I move into a dive position and dive perfectly and I flip underwater then I look up, it's so beautiful underwater. I then swim out of the pool.   As I’m walking to the end of the line I see the other's techniques and they drop another trapezius at a higher diving board. Before I know it I’m at the highest one and once that is done with I walk back to the changing rooms and then I’m done for the day.

persuasive writing on why it was not the pigeons fault

For my daily task, I was asked to write descriptive writing on why it was not the pigeon's fault. It was hard to think of ideas to put into my argument but I think it came out well in the end. please tell me in the comments if I have persuaded you. For my D.L.O. I used google docs. First of all Walter on the streets of D.C. probably new that the pigeon would not stop until he got that
donut, yet he continued to hesitate from giving it to the pigeon.
Secondly, Walter could have tried harder to scare off the pigeon yet he just sat there and stared at it.
Walter also could have just got up and walked off and went into a cafe’ next to him.

Thirdly Walter trapped the pigeon in the briefcase, and when the pigeon figured out how to move the
briefcase Walter knew it was only the pigeon yet he got scared and ran.

In conclusion, it was not the pigeon’s fault because the bedroom was probably starving an all I
wanted to eat a snack but Walter just made things worse.

Interview:

Eyewitnesses of the incident in Washington DC say there was a man flying on a briefcase others say there was a pigeon controlling a rocket. Most say a donut launched the rocket. An eyewitness says they got a look inside the supposed “FBI briefcase”, that could have sent the rocket, and some rumors say that there were two men who were involved. A man has a dashcam recording if the supposed offender running over the road without a briefcase but an eye witness says he got one from another man in an identical black suit. “the pigeon mix up” is what the media is calling it but I personally think it should be called the "donut mix up". As you know this inside report was written and recorded by Camryn        

My Amazing Minecraft Animation

For fun, I made an animation about Minecraft and I did about 259 slides and I'm still not done so please tell me in the comments if you have any ideas for me to go on a new adventure. it took me a long time to do this and some pieces were really hard and some bits were harder than others but it was fun.
